Volvariella gloiocephala (DC.) Boekhout & Enderle
Synonym: Volvariella speciosa (Fr.) Singer (1951)

This is one of the most common mushrooms in Suburbia. It is said that there are two color forms -- white and gray/brown. My personal observations show that the colors changes are environmentally driven -- in dry, windy conditions the color changes to gray brown.
