Agaricus silvaticus  Schaeff. (1833)

Collection: McCall, Idaho, Sep 6, 2008. Picea engelmannii, Tsuga sp. Pinus spp.

This is one of the classic members in the group of the bleeding Agaricus (Sanguinolenti). Taxonomically this area is still quite unsettled and it is not unlikely that several new species may appear, while others get synonymized.

Spores: 5-6.3 (6.5) x 3.5-4.2µ
