Clitocybe salmonilamella  H.E. Bigelow (1976)

This Clitocybe species seems to be endemic to California. Its most distinguishing characteristic is the pinkish cast that can frequently be observed on the lamellae. When dry it resembles somewhat Entoloma rhodopolium.

Frequently this species shows direct lignicolous habit.
