Interpreting the difference between Cortinarius croceus and Cortinarius cinnamomeus may be challenging at times as intermediate forms seem to exist. The main guideline is the gill color -- in cinnamomeus the gills have a strong orange color, while in croceus they tend to be more yellow to mustard. | ||
