Cortinarius limonius  (Fr.) Fr. 1838                                                         Collections: Scandinavia

This is  a classic Frisian species that stands out with its orangish colors and hygrophanous cap. Very common in Fennoscandia. There are reports from the Pacific Northwest, but I have not seen it in the warmer regions of the American West.
