Entoloma sinuatum is a poisonous species that has a strong farinaceous odor and taste. It can easily be confused with Tricholoma or the edible May Mushroom (Calocybe gambosa). It is common in Europe under broadleaved trees. No equivalent of it exists in Calfiornia.
