Hebeloma DB6682 (aff. theobrominum) *Collections: California

| This Hebeloma species is relatively frequent in the Bay Area in mixed Live Oak and Pine woods. It stands out with its brick colored cap, covered by thick white bloom. A couple of sequences were generated from local material and they were found to be close to the European H. theobrominum (which looks very similar on pictures), but not the same. | ||
