Inocybe cinnamomea  A. H. Smith (1941)

Collection: Pt. Reyes, California, Elevation: 800 ft / 240 m.

This is one of the more distinct Inocybe species in the conifer areas of Northern California. The deep yellowish/orangish colors set it apart. Originally from Crescent City, California (under Spruce), it seems to be particularly common under Bishop Pine (Pinus muricata) in the Point Reyes area.
Cheilocystidia is a mix of thick- and thin-walled elements.
