Leucoagaricus cupresseus Burlingham

Leucoagaricus cupresseus is very common under Monterey Cypress. It has the tendency to turn bright red where cut. The reaction lasts for about 1 minute after which it fades to fuscous.

During rainy stretches the cap loses its uniform appearance.
