One remarkable characteristic of this
Psathyrella is that it can get quite viscid in wet weather. When dry it
is still hygrophanous like the other members of the Genus.
Collection: Sierra Nevada, 2006-11-18 , conifer forests
Spores: (7.8) 8-9 x 4.3-5µ
Cystidia: Both pleuro- and cheilo-
cystidia abundant. Quite variable in shape, from utriform to clavate.
