Suillus luteus (Fries) S. F. Gray (1821)

The presence of this non-native species in California was debatable until recently, but as seen by me and also reported by others, this species thrives under imported White/Scot's Pine (Pinus sylvestris) in local parks and suburban landscaped areas.
