Most descriptions of Tricholoma fulvum specify it from broadleaved habitats. Only Breitenbach & Kraenzlin (Fungi of Switzerland Vol 3) mention Picea as a host. These collections from the alpine areas of the Rocky Mountains.  Whether this name is properly applied will require additional study.
