Cortinarius clandestinus (Kauffman (1932) *Collections: PNW & Calfiornia
This North American Leprocybe is fairly common in the Pacific Northwest, but less so in California where there is another unnamed species that looks like it. C. clandestinus has a strongly raphanoid odor and the typical UV reaction (yellow) for section Leprocybe. C. clandestinus is very close genetically to the vernal fruiting C. subalpinus. | ||
