This anonymous Telamonia can be
distinguished by its conifer (mainly Picea) habitat, white rooting
stipe (!) and pale context. The spores are on the long side for many species
close to it and have a distinctly stronger ornamentation on the back. This
one can be confused easily with
Cortinarius dolabratus, but upon careful review of the species
concepts they can easily be separated. The collection illustrated here is
somewhat weathered. There is a variety var.
raphanicus with strong odor of radishes when the context
is crushed. |
